Fit Check is a Chrome extension that helps you understand how a garment's published measurements compare to your own body measurements. This policy explains what information Fit Check collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Fit Check interprets fit. It does not recommend sizes, and it does not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google, our authentication provider (Supabase) receives standard OAuth account information, which may include your name, email address, and profile photo, depending on what your Google account shares. Fit Check's own code only reads your name (to display a greeting) and an internal user ID (to link your saved measurements to your account).

Body measurements. The measurements you enter (height, chest, waist, inseam, thigh, shoulder width, sleeve length) are stored in our database, linked to your account, so they're available each time you use the extension.

Page content for analysis. Before capturing anything, Fit Check checks whether the page you're on actually looks like a product page. It will not run on checkout, payment, or account pages, and known payment provider pages are blocked outright. If that check passes, Fit Check sends two things to our backend for processing: the HTML of the page you're viewing, and a screenshot of what's visible in your browser tab at that moment. This is sent to a proxy server we operate, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API to extract the garment's size chart. This is based on the full page, not just the size chart section, so it can include other visible content on that same product page. Your body measurements are never included in this request.

Feedback. If you choose to use the "Share feedback" link, you'll be taken to a third-party form (Tally) where you can optionally submit your email address and comments. This is entirely optional and only happens if you click the link.
